Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming film 'Sons Of Sardaar'.

Ajay Devgn took to Twitter on Friday to share the poster and wrote, "Unveiling @SonsOfSardaar My tribute to Warriors of Saragarhi: A tale of Rage, of Love, of Bravery. #SonsOfSardaar."

'Sons Of Sardaar' is a war drama based on the Battle of Saragarhi.

Ajay Devgn had earlier tweeted that 'Sons Of Sardaar' will match the grandeur of Hollywood period drama '300'. (Read more)

The Battle of Saragarhi was fought on September 12, 1897 by 21 Sikhs of the fourth Battalion of the Sikh Regiment.

This would not be the first time Ajay will portray a historic character. His role as freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in 'Legend of Bhagat Singh' won him the National award.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is gearing up for the trailer launch of his directorial venture 'Shivaay' on August 7. (Read more)
