From TV to films to OTT to even building a prominent name for himself in Marathi cinema, actor Raqesh Bapat has successfully managed to make a strong mark for himself across all mediums as a stellar performer.

While Raqesh has gotten opportunities to explore all these mediums as an actor, he feels that the kind of training television provides an actor to brush up their skills is like none other. "Acting on TV is just like being part of a workshop. You are learning every minute of shooting every scene because there is improvisation, scope to add in your own techniques and each scene requires a different emotion and skill altogether, which enables something new to learn every single day."

"Due to shows being on air everyday on television, there is scope to rework your acting styles and make changes by watching yourself and knowing where to correct yourself right away. Unlike OTT and films which definitely have great exposure but understanding where to make the changes in both these fields does take sometime. Though for me, it's not the medium but the challenge the work brings that is exciting", concludes Raqesh.
