Let's know from More about Dr Gitte.

Q1) Sir, how and when u started ur practise? how u developed Siddhivinayak hospital as a brand?

I started with small hospital ten years ago and slowly expanded and upgraded the set up and now our hospital is a multispeciality hospital with ICU providing all super speciality care under one roof .our main focus is to provide quality care at affordable cost and this approach helped in earning the trust of the common man. We are now one of the busiest hospitals in Thane city in terms of patient load.

Q2) Siddhivinayak hospital has emerged as one of the most preferred hospitals by the common man in entire Thane city and is being appreciated by the people for social services done by you in this tough time. Dr how was your journey during this Covid pandemic?

In the initial stages during the conversion of the hospital to a Covid-19 set-up, we had to face a lot of struggle and challenges but luckily we got Extremely sensitive nursing staff, very friendly housekeeping staff and a team of expert doctors. All faced the pandemic with great courage and successfully treated hundreds of critical patients. Due to this excellent service, our hospital became the preferred hospital for treating Covid patients.

Our dedicated Expert team used to give daily updates to relatives of admitted patients by phone calls, video calls .we used to send video footage of administering costly injection s like remdesivir, actemra etc. and tried all ways to keep everything very transparent. We gave treatment at very concessional rates and even few poor and needy patients were treated free of cost .so people s trust was built and strengthened.

We also implemented a unique initiative to felicitate patients by giving trophy at the time of discharge. So, the patient's confidence used to get boosted.  On the way home, they have the unique opportunity to meet all the staff and doctors who give them treatment. There used to be a feeling of being reborn. Then they would talk affectionately about the doctor, about the hospital. By listening words of appreciation and praise by the patients, all the staff used to feel happy and, energized to work harder. This initiative really helped to strengthen the bond between all the patients and staff. The patients who were cured by our treatments became our real strength.

Overall the journey was extremely difficult. But I am satisfied that we got the opportunity to play a small role in this fight against the Corona epidemic in Thane.
