Media institute manager arrested for molestation

Deccan police apprehended Shreedhar Shriram Rapolu (31), a resident of Dombivli and working as manager at Livewire Media Institute, on charges of molesting a 25-year-old woman, who had come for an interview at the organisation located on Fergusson College Road

While committing the offence, Shreedhar allegedly switched off the CCTV cameras installed in the institute. The accused has been remanded in police custody till Friday by a local court. The victim had lodged a complaint in the mater at Deccan police station.


“The interview was arranged on October 22. The victim was selected, and she joined the institute on November 17. The accused allegedly passed lewd remarks towards her and molested her on both days.


Primary interrogation has revealed that Shreedhar has molested several other women colleagues in the past. The accused has a previous criminal record, and has a case of cheating registered against him at Dombivli police station,” Public Prosecutor Waman Koli said.u00a0
