Under the scanner for his role in the spot fixing scandal, leading ICC panel umpire Asad Rauf returns to Pakistan as cops say he is not being listed as an accused just yet

Rauf, who reportedly arrived in Pakistan earlier yesterday following a desperate dash from authorities in India, is not an accused in the spot fixing cases registered by the Mumbai police yet.
“Investigations have revealed that Sunil and Pawan Jaipur, the bookies who fled to Dubai after the scandal broke, bore the costs for Rauf’s stay in a swanky Juhu hotel,” a police officer said. Officials say Vindu used to call the umpire ‘Dada’ and received information from him.
Meanwhile cops have seized a parcel from Delhi intended for and sent by Pawan Jaipur. The parcel contained six pairs of jeans, two reebok shoes, an international air 10 expensive watches.
